So reading your news post, I see you want to get more into music production. I would suggest saving up for Ableton or FL Studio.
Both "intro" versions are like 99$ so it's an ok price.
Also Ableton gives a 40% discount to students, so that can definitely help
And there are 10% discounts on FL, so it comes out to 89$.
Later on you can upgrade, but that's something you should definitely start saving up for.
If your an osx user, you should save up for Logic Pro for $200, and later Ableton.
Hopped I helped, and man, I can understand money being a problem, there's so much I needed to buy for my music, but it's all so expensive, so I have to wait on a lot of gear you know.
